Sony announced today that its PlayMemories Online Cloud service will see its official start on April 25.

As previously announced, the PlayMemories Online provides Cloud-based storage for PlayMemories Home on PC, PlayMemories Studio on PS3 and PlayMemories Mobile on Android and iOS. The service offers five gigabytes free space for storing photos and videos.

For PS3 users, PlayMemories Studio is a ¥1,500 paid app (with a 30 day free trial) that can be downloaded from PlayStation Store. The app is used to edit and upload videos, but at present can't be used to browse content in the PlayMemories Online Cloud.
