Sony Computer Entertainment and Polyphony Digital will release GT Academy 2012 on May 2. This free PSN download can be considered an introductory "demo" to Gran Turismo 5. It includes skill tests, events and rankings.

GT Academy 2012 will be put to use in the second season of the GT Academy tournament, which Sony detailed earlier in the week. See the US Gran Turismo site for further details.
