Prototype is readying a PlayStation 3 version of Tomoyo After It's a Wonderful Life CS Edition, but not for retail release. The PS3 version of the visual novel/adventure game will be given a limited release at the upcoming Visual Arts Appreciation Festival event, which will be held on July 29 at Yokohama Arena. The game will be priced ¥4,500.

Tomoyo After CS Edition was previously released on such platforms as Xbox 360 and PSP. The PS3 version has the main character voice that was added for the PSP version. The visuals are in 1280x720 resolution, and some of the sound effects and voices have been upped to 5.1. The PS3 version also has an art collection that lets you zoom and scroll through high resolution artwork.

Prototype previously did this event limited edition thing for Planetarian on PSP. Retail and download versions of that were offered later, so PS3 owners who can't make it out to Yokohama may still have a chance to get Tomoyo After CS Edition. Officially, Prototype says that the PS3 version of Tomoyo After CS Edition will not be given retail release.
