Namco Bandai announced today that total downloads for Gundam Battle Operation have topped the 300,000 mark. The free-to-download-and-play PS3 Gundam game was released on June 28 through PlayStation Network.

To commemorate the fast start, Namco Bandai will be giving 50,000 players a serial code that can be used to download a free sampling of the energy that is required to play. See the campaign page for details.
