Tomonobu Itagaki's Studio Takes Control of Devil's Third Rights

Valhalla's plans include anime, manga and more devices.

This is still pretty much all we've seen from Devil's Third.

Tomonobu Itagaki's Valhalla Game Studios formally announced today that it has acquired the copyright and sales/distribution rights for Devil's Third.

Devil's Third, Valhalla's first game, was originally announced with THQ as publisher. All rights related to the project, including development and distribution rights, have been transferred in full to Valhalla following negotiations with THQ.

As part of this announcement, Valhalla said that it plans on bringing the Devil's Third universe to a variety of digital devices outside of the previously announced console and PC versions. The studio is also planning on working with other forms of media, including manga, novels, animation and film, to create "a blockbuster franchise."
