G.Rev's original 3DS shooter Kokuga has just gone alpha, according to the game's development blog. This is basically like a pre-master version of the game. The game has just a few weeks of development left.

The blog post also clarifies a major point about the game's multiplayer component. It was previously announced that the game would support download play, meaning four players can play from a single cart. The download play works for the full game, so if you just plan on playing cooperatively with your friends, you can just get one copy of the game.
