Capcom has shared Resident Evil 6 screens showing off two areas of the game: skills and split co-op play.
Skills are obtained using "skill points." At the end of a chapter, you're given the option of exchanging your accumulated skill points for new skills.
You group skills in sets of three for use. Initially, you can hold just one of these sets, but as the game progresses, you'll gain the ability to hold up to eight sets. The game does not pause when you switch between sets, so you'll want to do so only when you're in a safe area.
Split co-op play is just what it says -- split screen co-op play. This allows you to play the game in co-op even when offline, as long as you have two controllers.
