This week's Ys Celceta Sea of Trees screenshot update has a look at the game's "magic tool" system.

Magic tools are special items that you'll find during your travels. Here are some examples:

The Dwarf Ring, which makes you small, allowing you to enter passages that would normally be inaccessible:

The Gale Boots, which let you dash by pressing X, allowing you to traverse special slopes and walls:

The Seima Collar, which turns you into a beast, allowing you to speak to the "residents" of the Sea of Trees:

Falcom also revealed that the game will have touch-based camera controls. Using pinch in and pinch out, you can zoom in and out of the action.
