Konami debuted Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes gameplay for the masses at the PAX 2012 event in Seattle earlier today. Hideo Kojima was in attendance to demonstrate fifteen minutes of gameplay running off a PC. You can view an official video of footage here.

During the presentation, Kojima said that while the demo was running on a PC, the hardware specifications were similar to PlayStation 3, and the footage we were looking at would be comparable to the PS3 version of the game. The US PlayStation blog later confirmed that the game is indeed coming to PlayStation 3.

So where exactly does Ground Zeroes fit into the Metal Gear saga? The PlayStation blog quotes Kojima as saying, "We’re not going to say that it’s Metal Gear Solid 5, but it is a prologue."
