Sega has finally announced a release date for Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater Extend, the PlayStation 3 counterpart to PSP's Project Diva Extend. The game was announced a few months back, but Famitsu shares the release details this week: September 13, price ¥3,900.

The idea is the same as with past Dreamy Theater games. With Dreamy Theater Extend, you can recreate the Project Diva Extend play experience on your PS3, with high quality models. You'll need the PSP version of the game, of course.

Dreamy Theater Extend adds some new features, including six modules from the arcade Hatsune Miku game. The game also has a mode which replicates the stage events you'll find at Miku fan festivals. In this "Live Mode," you can freely set and switch between nine cameras. Eleven songs will be compatible with this mode.
